LBSA Sindh Delegation Visits GCLI Okara Facility
A delegation of the Livestock Breeding Services Authority (LBSA Sindh Delegation) visited the Green Corporate Livestock Initiative GCLI Okara facility. Delegation visited the modern Gender Sorting Lab, IVF Lab, and imported breeding bulls.

The LBSA Sindh delegation included Dr Muhammad Mubarak Jatoi, Dr Ghulam Muhammad, Dr Iqtadar Ali, Dr Seema Baloch, Dr Suhrob Ali Sumroo, Dr Maryum, and Dr Ghulam Ahmed Jamali.

The LBSA Punjab team comprised Dr Sheikh Muhammad Laiq, Dr Saif, Dr Mustafa Pasha, and Dr Haq Nawaz.
Briefing to Delegation
During the visit, the delegation was briefed about the advanced facilities and ongoing projects. The teams observed imported breeding bulls from Australia, America, and Brazil. They also visited the IVF Laboratory and Gender Sorting Laboratory, where they were informed about modern reproductive technologies, genetic improvement programs, and semen processing systems.
Green Corporate Livestock Initiative (GCLI) under SIFC
Colonel Iman Masood Khan Director Farms GCI said that GCLI has established a state-of-the-art Gender Sorting Laboratory equipped with modern technology. Under the National Herd Transformation Drive, gender-sorted straws of indigenous breeds including Red Sindhi, Kundi, Sahiwal, and Bhagnari are being provided to farmers.
He further stated that gender-sorted semen from imported elite breeding bulls of Friesian, Jersey, Nelore, Angus, Braford, Brahman, Charbray, Gir, and Girolando breeds imported from the USA, Brazil, and Australia is also available.
The visiting delegation appreciated the efforts of Green Corporate Livestock Initiative.
