DCFA Pakistan Congratulated Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani as Vice Chancellor
A delegation of the Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association Pakistan (DCFA Pakistan) visited the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore. The DCFA Delegation congratulated the newly appointed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani. Chief Organizer Shahbaz Rasool Warraich was leading this delegation. Moreover, Muhammad Islam Ashraf Butt, Shahid Imran Gondal, Kashif Bhatti, Saqib Saleem Gujjar, and Rana Shakeel Ahmad also joined.

They discussed challenges of dairy sector, particularly the low milk prices received by small farmers, rising production costs, and the need for value addition in the dairy industry. The delegation also emphasized the importance of modern dairy technologies, training programs, and effective diagnostic facilities for farmers.

On this occasion, a special message from DCFA Pakistan Central President Shakir Umar Gujjar was also conveyed. In his message, he congratulated Professor Dr. Masood Rabbani on assuming his new responsibilities. He expressed hope that positive initiatives for the development of the livestock and dairy sector would be introduced under his leadership.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani thanked the DCFA Pakistan delegation and assured them that the university would continue to play its role in enhancing farmers’ capacity through modern research, technical support, and training programs.
