Secretary Livestock KPK Zarif ul Maani visited the UVAS Swat Under Construction Building
Secretary Livestock KPK Zarif ul Maani paid a detailed visit to the under-construction building of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Swat (UVAS Swat). On the occasion of the visit, Vice Chancellor UVAS Swat Prof. Dr. Shakibullah, Additional Secretary Livestock Mr. Niaz Ali Khan, Advisor Veterinary Sciences Dr. Alamdar Hussain Malik, and Additional Registrar Dr. Khalid Khan, along with relevant staff of the university and PMU were also present.

The relevant staff informed the Secretary Livestock KPK about the progress of the project, the problems faced and the future course of action. They also presented a detailed briefing on the construction issues.
Secretary Livestock Zarif Ul Maani expressed satisfaction with the project. He said that the government is serious about completing the construction of the permanent campus of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Swat on priority basis. Goverenemt is taking practical steps in this regard.
He further said that construction activities will be accelerated soon so that the project can be completed within the stipulated time frame. The completion of the permanent campus of the university will not only promote higher veterinary education and research but will also play a significant role in the development of livestock, fisheries and related sectors in the region.

At the end of the visit, the Vice Chancellor UVAS Swat, Prof. Dr. Shakibullah, presented honorary shields to the Secretary Livestock Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zarif Ul Maani and Additional Secretary Niaz Ali Khan on behalf of the university.
