Jhang campus, UVAS Lahore
The UVAS Jhang Campus is one of the main campuses of UVAS, Lahore located in the rural areas of district Jhang. It is playing a vital role in the advancement of veterinary education and research considerably contributing to the progress and overall ranking of UVAS. College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Jhang (CVAS Jhang) was developed in 2006. Over the journey of nearly 20 years, the Veterinary College Jhang provided veterinary education in remote areas along with providing extension services to livestock farmers. Besides Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and other degree programs, the campus also provides veterinary services like diagnosis, treatment, surgery, extension, emergency handling, and prevention.

Department of Basic Sciences
This department of the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Jhang provides foundational knowledge in veterinary and animal sciences. It covers fundamental biological processes, biochemical functions, and physiological mechanisms essential for understanding animal health. This department of Veterinary College Jhang involves the sections Anatomy and Histology, Physiology and Biochemistry, and Pharmacology and Toxicology. The department also offers BS Biological Sciences.
Department of Pathobiology
This department focuses on the causes, mechanisms, and effects of diseases in animals. Students learn disease diagnostics through lab techniques, pathology slides, and microbial culturing. Department of Animal Sciences
This department of Veterinary College Jhang is dedicated to livestock and poultry production, genetics, and nutrition. Department of Social Sciences
The sections of Social Sciences, Statistics, Livestock Economics, Islamic studies, and Pakistan studies, and English are part of this department.
Each department combines theoretical lectures with practical sessions to ensure students develop both conceptual understanding and hands-on skills essential for veterinary and animal sciences. Furthermore, a range of extension and diagnostic services are being provided to livestock farmers.
