National Farmers Convention
Chief of Army Staff addressed the National Farmers Convention. He highlighted the importance of livestock and agriculture sectors. He said agriculture and animal husbandry were professions akin to prophethood. Army Chief said the Green Pakistan Initiative aimed to prioritize the agriculture sector. Its significant share would go to provinces. Furthermore, the rest will be reserved for farmers and agricultural research. He said agricultural malls in every district will facilitate the farmers. Farmers will find easy loans, efficient cold storage, climate-resistant seeds, and genetically improved livestock, as well.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, while talking to the National Farmers Convention, said that agriculture and livestock breeding have been the profession of almost every prophet, because this profession involves discipline, pain, growth and patience, which result in immense rewards.

The Pakistan Army Chief said that a major part of the income of the Green Pakistan Initiative will go to the provinces, while the rest will be kept for farmers and agricultural research. The role of the army in this is only to serve the people and farmers. Agricultural malls will be organized in all districts where farmers will be provided with all kinds of agricultural facilities. He said that the aim of the Green Pakistan Initiative is that we should work on agriculture first.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir said that provision of easy agricultural loans, cold storage chain, seeds protected from the effects of climate change and livestock with improved genetic potential will be ensured. He said that by creating an atmosphere of excitement, disappointment and chaos on social media, the impression is being given through false news that the state is losing its existence.
National Farmers Convention and the Potential of Pakistan
Rumors and negative things are being told about Pakistan, but you should know that only two states were established in the name of the word, the State of Tayyiba and the State of Pakistan, this is not just a coincidence. He said that all kinds of mafia will be suppressed together with the nation.
The Army Chief further said that Pakistan is rich in resources. Pakistan has glaciers, rivers, mountains, and fertile land from which the best rice, quinoa and mango fruits are produced in the world. We have treasures like granite, gold and copper. He said that in the sixties, Pakistan was a rapidly developing country in Asia, but we forgot the three golden principles of Quaid-e-Azam – faith, unity and organization, due to which we suffered from degradation.
During the Army Chief’s speech, the farmers repeatedly chanted slogans of “Takbir” and “Pakistan Zindabad”.
