ECC approved the donkey meat export and hides from Gwadar to China | Economic Coordination Committee |  Export of Donkey Meat & Hides to China

Muhammad Aurangzeb chaired a high-level meeting to review key economic matters. During the meeting, the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) approved the donkey meat export from Gwadar to China. Moreover, they also allowed Donkey Hides Export to China.  Pakistan has taken a major step by approving export of donkey meat & hides to China. They gave permission to clear the existing stock by exporting it legally and according to set standards.  It also expands non-traditional trade sectors. Moreover, it helps the country strengthen economic ties and earn foreign exchange.

The ECC granted approval based on a summary from the Ministry of National Food Security and Research.  As a result, authorities can proceed with the donkey meat export from the Gwadar donkey slaughterhouse.

Moreover, the committee directed officials to export the existing inventory under approved protocols and regulations. Consequently, this step will ensure proper utilization of available stock.

Furthermore, officials confirmed that China has strong demand for these products. Therefore, the donkey meat export will support Pakistan’s trade sector.

Overall, the ECC aims to boost exports while ensuring compliance with international standards.
