Registration for CM Punjab Livestock Program 2026 is open now. The Government of Punjab has launched the new phase of Punjab CM Livestock Asset Transfer Scheme 2026, also known as the Free Animals Distribution Scheme 2026. This Free Animals Distribution Scheme is designed for rural women in South Punjab, especially widows and divorced women. However, this Punjab CM Livestock Asset Transfer Scheme 2026 will improve the livelihoods of rural women through livestock ownership. The Livestock and Dairy Development Department Punjab, is implementing this program under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

This CM Punjab Livestock Program aims to distribute livestock assets to deserving women. However, the initiative aims to provide free livestock to deserving women, helping them earn a sustainable income while strengthening the province’s livestock sector. What is the CM Punjab Livestock Program 2026?

The Punjab CM Livestock Asset Transfer Scheme is a welfare initiative launched by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif. This CM Punjab Livestock Program was launched to empower rural women through livestock ownership. Punjab Livestock Department is implementing this program. Under this scheme, eligible rural women will receive free livestock that can provide a sustainable source of income, improve household nutrition through milk production, and strengthen their financial independence.

As a result, these women can improve household nutrition, increase milk production, and earn additional income by selling milk and livestock products.

Who can apply for this CM Punjab Livestock Program 2026?

The Punjab Government has established specific eligibility criteria for applicants under the Free Animal Distribution Scheme or Punjab CM Livestock Asset Transfer Scheme. To qualify, the applicant must be a rural woman residing in the selected districts of South Punjab. Her age should be 55 years or younger. Additionally, she must belong to a low-income household with a monthly income of less than Rs. 32,000 and possess a valid National Identity Card (CNIC).

Importantly, women who have already received animals under any government animal distribution programme during the previous five years are not eligible to apply. Furthermore, applicants must complete the registration process through the prescribed channels to be considered for the scheme.

According to the official announcement, registration started on 15 July 2026. Therefore, eligible women should apply as early as possible.
