Care and Management of Pets

Livestock Department Sindh and SAU Tandojam organized a five-day training program. This training was on pet care, pet management, and pet treatment. At the Artificial Insemination Training Centre of Livestock Sindh, experts trained the young vets. Besides young pet practitioners, students having an interest in pet practice also joined this pet care training. During five five-day program, experts trained the participants on different aspects of pet practice. Besides the management and care of pets, they also trained them for disease diagnosis and treatment. Moreover, they also trained the vets on grooming and handling of pets. Besides the treatment, they also focused on disease prevention. They highlighted importance of vaccination, deworming, and overall biosecurity.
