Training on Isolation and Identification of Salmonella Spp. and Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing was organized at Provincial Diagnostic Lab Lahore by Fleming Fund and Livestock and Dairy Development Department. Dr. Usman Talib, Dr. Abubakar, Dr. Shumaila and other professionals discussed AMR status and its Surveillance Strategies in Pakistan, General Principles of isolation and identification of bacteria, Laboratory External Quality Assurance, biochemical testing, Laboratory Leadership, Interpretation of AST Results using CLSI guidelines, Preservation of Bacterial isolates and other topics. Secretary Livestock Masood Anwar distributed certificates among the participants in closing ceremony.
