Crackdown against Unhygienic Meat and illegally slaughtered meat in Lahore
In collaboration with the Punjab Food Authority, the Livestock Department, under the leadership of Dr. Mujahid Randhawa, Deputy Director, Tehsil City Lahore, launched a full-scale crackdown against Unhygienic Meat and illegally slaughtered meat in the Sabzazar and Millat Park areas. During this operation, 6 suspects were arrested and legal action was taken. In this regard, unsafe meat was recovered and destroyed.
Deputy Director Livestock Tehsil City Lahore said that illegally slaughtered and unsafe meat is not only harmful to the health of the public but is also a clear violation of government laws. The Livestock Department is determined to control it. The cooperation of the public and relevant institutions is very important in this regard.

Deputy Director Livestock Lahore Dr. Mujahid further said that strict legal action will be taken against the elements involved in illegal slaughter, and no one will be allowed to play with the health of the public. The Livestock Department and the Punjab Food Authority will continue such joint actions in the future so that the public can be ensured the supply of quality and safe meat.
