Livestock Department Jamshoro organized a workshop on Diseases of Zoonotic Importance. Besides the veterinary professionals, livestock farmers also attended this activity. Experts highlighted different aspects of Diseases spread by animals. They especially focused on tick-borne diseases including Congo Fever. They elaborated Zoonotic definition or Zoonotic meaning. Boiling water may protect from different infections. Besides this, people should consume healthy livestock products. They should avoid half-cooked or semi-cooked livestock products including meat, and eggs. Milk should be consumed after boiling.
On the other hand, pet lovers should get vaccines for rabies and other important diseases. Besides this, they should also vaccinate their pets according to the recommendations of their vet. Moreover, they should also follow cleanliness guidelines regarding animal interaction. Furthermore, livestock farmers should also care for the disease transmission from animals. They should take care of their hygiene.
