What are Zoonotic Diseases?
Humans and animals have been related since time immemorial. From the cavemen living in forests and mountains to the present day, humans have been fulfilling many of their various needs with animals. Domestic animals and their keepers live very close, which is why diseases are transmitted from animals to humans.
Diseases transmitted from animals to humans include minor common colds and deadly diseases such as anthrax caused by sick sheep. According to a report by the World Health Organization, about 61 percent of the 1415 diseases are transmitted from animals to humans, while about 75 percent of new diseases are also associated with animals.

Most of the population in Pakistan lives in villages, obviously, most of their relationship is associated with animals. Thus, the proportion of diseases spread by animals is high in Pakistan. Malaria, cattle fever, flu, polio and many other diseases are also diseases transmitted from animals to humans.
