World Rabies Day History

28 September, every year, is Rabies day since 2007 which is the death anniversary of Louis Pasteur. This man worked on the vaccine of Rabies. This day is observed mainly on the call of Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC) besides other organizations. Moreover WHO and WOAH also raise voice for this day. In Addition to other courtiers, Pakistan too observes this day. Besides educational institutes, Government organizations also organize different activities. Further, volunteers work for vaccination campaigns.
