Reasons and Facts behind the Cancellation of PVMA Registration
The real reason for the cancellation of the PVMA registratio, Pakistan Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA), registered in 1986, has come to light.
In this regard, information has come to light from reliable sources that this association has been dormant since it was registered in Sindh under the Societies Registration Act in 1986. This association has never informed the concerned office about its election. The audit report of the accounts has also never been submitted by the association to the office of the Registrar Joint Stock Companies. The registration of such an association has been canceled as per the rules and regulations.

On the other hand, letters were also written to two former presidents of PVMA regarding the registration of the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Association. The letters said that several letters were written to the central president PVMA by the PVMC Secretariat in which the record of registration of PVMA under the Societies Registration Act was sought, while the PVMC Secretariat does not have any record in this regard.
The former presidents have been asked to clarify their position on the basis on which nominations were sent by the PVMA during their tenure.
Further, a legal opinion was taken on the letter allegedly sent by the PVMC president regarding the registration of the PVMA on the instructions of the Ministry of Interprovincial Coordination. According to this opinion, proof of PVMA registration is necessary before the nomination of the PVMA. Further, in the absence of PVMA registration, the PVMA nominations have no legal status. According to the alleged legal opinion, the PVMA registered at the district level in Lahore cannot be applicable for the whole of Pakistan.
Further, a legal opinion was given that if the registration of the PVMA is not proven from 1998-2018, the matter can be sent to the FIA for action. The former presidents have allegedly not responded to these letters yet, while reminder letters have also been allegedly sent in this regard.
