Training of Master Trainers on Equine Breeds Baseline Survey at Remount Depot Mona

A special training of master trainers on the equine breeds baseline survey was organized at Remount Depot Mona. The objective of the training program was to equip master trainers with modern skills and scientific knowledge so that they can conduct baseline survey of horse breeds in a more effective and standard manner. This initiative is an important milestone in the process of equine genetic improvement and regular documentation of their breed identification and records. This training workshop will prove to be an important milestone in the identification of breed characteristics of local breed horses. Veterianry doctors from the Livestock Department Punjab participated in the workshop while officers from Remount Depot provided full support.
