Wildlife Vet Dr. Amir Rashid rescued the escaped Tigress in Multan
An escaped tiger from a pickup van on Multan Bosan Road was captured by a wildlife vet. According to the details, the female tiger was being shifted from Lahore’s breeding farm to Multan on pickup by an animal dealer. The pickup got stuck in a mud spot on Bosan Road. When the van tried to gear up, the cage opened and the tigress ran away into the fields. The owner first contacted the police and then wildlife officials.

The female escaped tiger was rescued after a joint operation by the Wildlife Department and DHA Multan Zoo 360. The operation was completed professionally by DHA Multan Zoo Vet Dr. Amir Rashid. Dr Amir sedated the animal using a dot gun with great skill and then transferred it to the vehicle with the help of other colleagues. Meanwhile, the female tiger only slightly injured two persons. One of them was a Wildlife Department official.
