Faculty of Animal Husbandry UAF – University of Agriculture Faisalabad
The Faculty of Animal Husbandry UAF is the historical/pioneer institution for livestock and poultry production in Pakistan. This faculty of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad is playing a leading role in ensuring food security and its alumni are serving the poultry and livestock industry in an effective and efficient way. FAH UAF is offering BS Animal Sciences, BS Dairy Science, BS Poultry Science, and other undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
The faculty is striving hard to produce quality manpower well fit to meet the demands of stakeholders. FAH UAF focuses on genetic improvement, precision nutrition, and innovative management including disease prevention and technology transfer.
Undergraduate Programs of FAH UAF
The Faculty offers three undergraduate programs:
- BS Animal Sciences: This is a four-year program focusing on animal production including management, nutrition, genetics, and other aspects of livestock and poultry production.
- BS Dairy Science: This is a specialized program for Dairy production with a focus on local, crossbred, and exotic dairy animals.
- BS Poultry Science: This is a specialized four-year program focusing on broiler, layer, and breeder farm management.

The university offers MPhil and PhD programs in Animal Breeding and Genetics, Livestock Management, Animal Nutrition, and Poultry Science.
