Governor Punjab nominated Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus as Pro Vic Chancellor UVAS. He will continue in this position for three years. Moreover, he also assumed the charge of VC UVAS – Veterinary University Lahore. Stakeholders including faculty members and university administration congratulated him.

Prof. Younus had been the Vice Chancellor of the University of Narowal also. Moreover, he also served as Principal CVUS Jhang and KBCMA CVAS Narowal. On the other hand, he is running 15 development and research projects. He published 275 Research Publications. Besides this. he also supervised and co-supervised 60 MPhil and 18 PhD students. Furthermore, he is the author of 14 Books & 32 Book Chapters.

Pro Vice Chancellor UVAS Lahore

During service, Prof. Younus established 02 Livestock Complexes in Narowal District. He also established and developed two university-level institutes in Jhang and Narowal.

The President of Pakistan conferred Tamgha-i-Imtiaz to Prof. Younus for his services in the veterinary education and livestock sector. Prof Younus also received the Distinguished Leadership Award International (DLA.I) by USA in 2016.
