Dr. Qaisar Shahzad, President of VitaGene Farms, visited the Central Secretariat of the Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association Pakistan. Central President DCFA Pakistan Shakir Umar Gujjar and other office bearers welcomed him. The meeting discussed in detail the development of Pakistan’s livestock and dairy sector, genetic improvement of livestock, artificial insemination, embryo transfer, IVF, modern breeding programs and promotion of high-yielding breeds.
Appreciation for President of Vitagene Farms
On this occasion, DCFA Pakistan appreciated Dr. Qaisar Shahzad’s services for the promotion of modern reproductive technologies and genetic improvement in the livestock sector. The participants said that his efforts have promoted the use of modern technologies like embryo transfer and IVF in Pakistan, while cooperation with international institutions, especially research centers in China, has also been strengthened.

Future Collaboration
Shakir Umar Gujjar said that modern genetic technology, research and scientific breeding programs can play an important role in increasing milk and meat production in Pakistan, increasing production per animal, improving farmers’ income and strengthening national food security.

At the end of the meeting, both institutions expressed their commitment to continue their mutual cooperation for the promotion of modern livestock genetics, embryo transfer, IVF technology and modern dairy farming.
