An international seminar was organized by the Livestock Production and Management Department of Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi on the topic of the effects of a healthy digestive system on the diet and health of chickens. The aim of the seminar was to highlight the effects of a healthy digestive system of chickens on poultry production, nutrition and health. The seminar also highlighted the effects of healthy chickens on human health and the management of the digestive system of chickens in this regard.

The chief organizer of the seminar on poultry gut health was Professor Dr. Tanveer Ahmed, Chairman, Department of Livestock Production and Management, while the seminar was supported by the Jadid Group of Companies. Dr. Fu Shong Ket, Senior Veterinary Poultry Technical Specialist of Avigen, was specially invited to speak at the seminar.
