A student of CVAS Jhang got third position in a national-level essay writing competition. Moreover, Qurat ul Ain won the cash award of thirty thousand. She wrote on the topic “How to reduce climate change risks through sustainable water Management and Urban Development”. PCRWR organized this under Pakistan Water Week 2023. The National Workshop of Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources was held at the Pak China Friendship Center, Islamabad.

On the other hand, the Principal College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences congratulated the student. Moreover, he encouraged the students to participate in such activities.

PCRWR and Pakistan Water Week

PCRWR organized Pakistan Water Week 2023 in December at the Pak-China Friendship Centre. Importantly, this focused on the youth and young water professionals. Moreover, this provided the opportunity to share the knowledge and interact with stakeholders. Furthermore, the main purpose was the public awareness. Besides International Conference and national workshops, different competitions were part of this activity.
