World Antimicrobial Awareness Week by National Veterinary Laboratory Islamabad

On the occasion of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week, the National Veterinary Laboratory, Ministry of National Food Security and Research, in collaboration with other institutions, organized various activities.

A national seminar was organized for veterinary and agricultural researchers in collaboration with the Fleming Fund Grant and the World Health Organization, in which experts and researchers from various educational and research institutions participated. Thanks to this activity, researchers will get an opportunity to be involved in antimicrobial-related activities. An awareness seminar was also organized for para-veterinary practitioners regarding the use of antimicrobials.

The National Veterinary Laboratory also participated in an awareness walk organized by the National Institute of Health. On this occasion, the National Institute of Health also organized a symposium in which stakeholders from the public and private sectors participated under One Health.

Various awareness video messages were also released by the National Veterinary Laboratory, Islamabad, on the occasion of the week.
