UVAS observed Wildlife Day

UVAS observed World Wildlife Day at Ravi Campus Pattoki. Department of Wildlife and Ecology organized a seminar. The theme of the day was ‘People and Planet: Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation. Besides the seminar, they also organized an awareness. Participants promoted environmental consciousness. Moreover, they also highlighted the importance of conservation of wildlife. This Day is March 03 every year.

Theme of Day of Wildlife 2024

Prof. Dr. Arshad Javid emphasized the critical role of academia in advancing conservation of wildlife . On the other hand, Hafiz Salman highlighted the religious perspective of wildlife conservation. Furthermore, Dr Zahid Iqbal Khan talked about significance of wildlife and its conservation for public & planet.

Mr. Shahbaz Anwar Maan delivered a lecture on digital innovation in wildlife conservation. Furthermore, experts emphasized on the need for collective action. Besides this, They focused on  the importance of innovative approaches to address the challenges. In fact, they were talking about the challenges facing wildlife and biodiversity conservation in 21st century.
