Workshop on Companion Animal Dermatology

Rana Pet Care Centre organized a workshop on companion animal dermatology. Certified Companion Animal Dermatologist Dr. Akmal Mazhar Rana highlighted different aspects of veterinary dermatology including pet skin care. Furthermore, he also focused on different common skin diseases of dogs and skin diseases of cats with dog skin care and cat skin care. He especially discussed the itchy skin in dogs and cats along with allergies in dogs and cats. Moreover, veterinary dermatologist highlighted the importance of grooming in dogs and grooming in cats. This workshop also covered the practical aspects of pet dermatology.

According to Veterinary Dr. Nasr Aqeel, an accurate diagnosis and corresponding treatment is very necessary to see effective results. DVM Curriculum in Pakistan lacks many aspects of practical dermatology. Such workshops are helping for vets.  She said, Dr. Rana covered the first module in this workshop. He will cover the other modules in the future. Besides theoretical discussion, this workshop also covered hands-on training. Different common skin diseases of dogs and skin diseases of cats were focused. Planning for  dog skin care and cat skin care was also the par of this workshop.

During the workshop, Dr. Akmal Rana discussed different dermatological conditions. He also discussed prevention and treatment of skin diseases of dogs and skin diseases of cats.
