Minister Livestock Sindh visited Punjab to explore modern livestock farms, dairy facilities, research institutions, and breeding centers. During the visit, Minister of Livestock Sindh Muhammad Ali Malkani visited leading livestock organizations in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, GCLI Farm Okara, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, and Multan. He also attended a national livestock dialogue in Islamabad. The visit focused on modern livestock production, advanced breeding technologies, and scientific research.
National Dialogue on Harnessing Pakistan’s Livestock Potential
Minister livestock Sindh began his visit on July 15 by attending the “Dialogue on Harnessing Pakistan’s Livestock Potential” at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat in Islamabad. Participants discussed livestock development, investment opportunities, modern technologies, and export potential.
Moreover, Muhammad Ali Malkani participated in a high-level panel discussion on “Disease Risks and Challenges Facing Pakistan’s Poultry Industry.” Sindh Livestock Secretary Dr. Kazim Hussain Jatoi and Director General of the Sindh Institute of Animal Health, Dr. Nazir Hussain Kalhoro, also attended the session.

Royal JW Buffalo Dairy Farm
During his visit to Punjab, the minister livestock Sindh visited the Royal JW Buffalo Dairy Farm in Sheikhupura. He reviewed modern buffalo farming practices and management systems for high-yielding animals.
Minister Livestock Sindh visited University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences and Omega Dairy Farm
In Lahore, he visited the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) and met Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Masood Rabbani. University experts briefed him on animal disease diagnosis, vaccine development, biotechnology, scientific research, and modern disease control measures.
He also visited Omega Dairy Farm in Kasur. At Omega Dairy Farm, he reviewed modern dairy management practices, animal research activities, and advanced dairy production systems.
Minister Livestock Sindh visited GCLI Farm Okara
In Okara, Muhammad Ali Malkani visited the Green Corporate Livestock Initiative (GCLI). He inspected high-quality cattle imported from Brazil, the United States, and other countries at GCLI Farm Okara. In addition, he visited IVF and sexed semen laboratories, where experts briefed him on modern genetic improvement programs.
Fongrow Livestock and Agriculture Farm, DayZee Farm & Haji Shaukat Dogar Cattle Farm
Later, the minister visited the Fongrow Livestock and Agriculture Farm in Khanewal. He inspected the modern semen production laboratory and reviewed breeding programs based on elite bulls imported from Brazil.
Furthermore, the minister visited the headquarters of Fauji Foundation Fongrow. Officials presented ongoing work on genetic improvement of indigenous livestock breeds, breeding programs, and advanced production technologies.
Moreover, he also visited DayZee Livestock Farm in Hasilpur, Bahawalpur. He examined advanced breeding programs, superior livestock breeds, and the farm’s semen production laboratory.
Finally, Muhammad Ali Malkani visited Haji Shaukat Dogar Cattle Farm in Multan. Experts demonstrated the use of artificial insemination, semen technology, and embryo transfer to improve the genetic potential of local buffalo breeds.

The Sindh Livestock Minister said the visit gave him valuable knowledge about modern livestock farming, genetic improvement, disease control, and advanced breeding technologies.
