Animal Rights Activists Called on IG Punjab

Animal Rights Activists discussed issues of animal welfare with IG Punjab | اینیمل رائٹس ایکٹوسٹس کی آئی جی پنجاب سے ملاقات.  Members of the Animal Rights Advocacy Group met with Inspector General Punjab Inam Ghani.

The meeting discussed the police’s support for resolving issues related to animal rights. The meeting was attended by Aiza Haider, Syed Muhammad Naeem Abbas, Aniza Khan, Aafia Khan, Kiran Naqvi Advocate and others. The meeting sought the support of the Institute for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Wildlife Department. The IG Punjab assured full cooperation in this regard.

A focal person has been appointed by the police in this regard. Aiza Haider said that meetings will continue to support the police department regarding animal rights. An officer will be in touch as a focal person in this regard. It should be noted that the IG Punjab is a member of the Board of Governors of the Institute for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
