Eleventh Meeting of Livestock Breeding Services Authority was held at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore. Chairman Livestock Breeding Authority Dr. Aleem Bhatti, Secretary Livestock Masood Anwar, VC UVAS Prof. Dr. Nasim Ahmed, VC CUVAS Prof. Dr. Sajjad Khan, Prof. Dr. Huma Lodhi, Dr. Tasneem Kausar, and others were present during the meeting. Registrar Breeding Authority Dr. Sajid Iqbal briefed about the activities of LBSA.

Secretary Livestock emphasized to focus breed improvement and breed regulations because these are the basics to improve the productivity. Chairman authority discussed to prepare a breeding plan for sheep goat because it is important to enhance mutton production. Through this step, we can strengthen the small ruminant farming in farming because of better animal performance.

Due to breeding laws, livestock breed improvement can be achieved. Therefore implementation on these laws is essential. Because of this reason, Livestock Breeding Services Authority was established
