It also offers veterinary services for the farmers through its veterinary teaching hospital and mobile veterinary service. Departments of FVAS IUB
Department of Pathology: Its focus is on disease mechanisms and disease diagnosis while educating undergraduate and postgraduate students and providing research opportunities with state-of-the-art facilities including the University Diagnostic Laboratory.
Department of Anatomy and Histology: This department covers education and research in the field of Gross Anatomy and Histology. The teaching and research labs are equipped with all requirements.
Department of Physiology: Besides offering courses for various degree programs including Doctor of Veterinary Medicine DVM Degree, this department is distinguished in offering the undergraduate degree in Physiology.
Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology: This department teaches veterinary pharmacology and other subjects including drug mechanisms, toxicology, and antimicrobial resistance. It has equipped lab for research in the field of pharmacology and toxicology.
Department of Microbiology: This department covers courses related to Microbiology for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine DVM Degree and other degree programs. It is also offering an undergraduate program in applied microbiology.
Department of Parasitology: Its focus is on veterinary Parasitology regarding teaching and research at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
