French Scientific Attaché visited UVAS Lahore

Scientific and Higher Education Attaché from the French Embassy, Dr. Sabine Ver-Millard, visited the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore and met with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naseem Ahmed. In the meeting held on this occasion, Dr. Sabine Ver-Millard discussed issues related to establishing long-term relations with the Veterinary University in the future, including education and research, climate change, exchange of students and faculty members to learn modern knowledge, skill development, capacity building training and establishing links with educational institutions in France.
The meeting was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naseem Ahmed and a large number of senior faculty members of the university. Earlier, Prof. Dr. Naseem Ahmed told Dr. Sabine about the education and research, national and international relations, various degree programs and services of the Veterinary University. He said that the university’s volunteer relief teams provided ration and essential items of life as well as medical treatment services to livestock farmers in flood-affected areas of Taunsa Sharif, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan, Charsadda, Fazalpur, Rajanpur, Rojhan, Khairpur and Lasbela.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naseem Ahmed informed about the links with the French Center Lahore related to the French Language Course of the Veterinary University.
Dr. Sabine Ver-Millard met the students studying the French Language Course at the Veterinary University and visited the Pet Center.
