According to the details, under the new Track and Trace System, a unique serial number and 2D Data Matrix barcode will be recorded on each medicine pack, through which it will be possible to monitor every stage of the medicine from its preparation to its delivery to the consumer. This process is called the Product Serialization System, in which each pack is uniquely identified to quickly identify counterfeit, substandard or illegally sold medicines.
According to experts, this modern system will play a significant role in increasing transparency in the medicine supply chain, facilitating product verification and ensuring the supply of safe and quality medicines.
