Dr. Ajaz Rashid of East Windsor Animal Hospital USA paid a visit to UVAS. Moreover, Dr. Kamran Jahangir from Canada also visited. They delivered talks at Veterinary Boot Camp. In a meeting, Dr. Ajaz highlighted different aspects of the competency of young veterinarians. Furthermore, he discussed how could vets from Pakistan be trained for national and international veterinary practice.

Besides the Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf and Dr Asif Salman Sahi were also present.

Dr. Ajaz Rashid emphasized the practical learning of vets. Vets should learn about disease diagnosis and surgery. Furthermore, they should also learn proper handling and treatment of animals. On the other hand, Dr. Asif Sahi emphasized the improvement of the DVM curriculum.
