CASA Equipment installed at Fongrow by GeenTech International

GeenTech International has installed CASA Equipment at the Mari Cattle Breed Improvement and Research Centre of Fongrow Farms in Khanewal. This is the project of the Fauji Foundation. CASA System is Computer Assisted Semen Analysis Equipment.

This Installation of CASA Equipment was carried out under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer GeenTech, Dr. Ahsan Ullah Awan. Dr. Warisha Maryam Business Unit Head, led the technical and professional team. The team included Dr. Abubakar Sulehri, Dr. Ali Raza, and Dr. M. Rafique. Ms Julia Pable from Minitube Germany also joined.

Following the installation of CASA System, Minitube Germany, and GeenTech performed initial tests. Further, the technical personnel at Fongrow conducted analysis in the presence of the GeenTech team. They ensured the seamless operation and reliability of the CASA equipment.

Dr. M. Ashiq, the Technical Manager of the Mari Cattle Breed Improvement and Research Centre, extended a warm welcome and expressed gratitude to the GeenTech team for their professionalism. Brig. Muhammad Ahsan, Managing Director of Fongrow Farms Khanewal, appreciated the efforts and expressed complete satisfaction with GeenTech services.

Before this, GeenTech International also installed the CASA System at UVAS Lahore.

What is CASA Equipment?

Computer Assisted Semen Analysis (CASA) is a modern technology for semen analysis. Advanced Semen Labs uses this system to analyze semen samples. This advanced system gives highly accurate and précised results. The system consists of advanced imaging techniques and software. It analyzes various parameters of sperm quality, including its concentration, motility, morphology, and viability.

Besides measuring the number of sperm in semen per unit volume, it also assesses sperm mortality. Moreover, it evaluates the morphology of sperm. Furthermore, it determines the proportion of live sperms in the sample. Trajectory and speed of sperm movement are also analyzed by this system.

Accuracy and consistency are the basic features of this system. It reduces human error and provides reliable data. Moreover, it gives detailed analysis to make important breeding decisions. It also speeds up the process of semen analysis.

Besides semen analysis, it also provides a data management system which is important for data management. Moreover, it is helpful in long-term monitoring and breeding program adjustments. Furthermore, it is also helpful for research and development. Overall, the CASA System enhances the success of the reproduction and breeding program.
