UVAS observed Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2023. Furthermore, the Institute of Microbiology organized an AMR Awareness walk. The purpose of this activity was to support this call. World AMR Awareness Week 2023 sensitizes the stakeholders as well as policymakers. Besides medical professionals, this issue is also important for veterinarians. In addition to this, AMR is also important in the One Health concept.

Vice Chancellor and other faculty members led the walk. In addition to this, students also participated in this activity.
