Ecobiol Fizz, the Next Generation Water Soluble Probiotics for Poultry launched in Pakistan

Agriprom Pakistan and Evonik launched Ecobiol Fizz, the next generation water soluble probiotics for poultry production in Pakistan. These are poultry probiotics for commercial poultry farming. Experts highlighted the importance of probiotics in poultry production while speaking at the launching Ceremony. Agriprom Pakistan Pakistan organized the launching ceremony in Islamabad, Lahore, and Multan. Dr. Torben Gosvig Madsen, Vice President (Specialty Nutrition Asia Pacific) of Evonik, was the key speaker. Dr. Torben said stress such as diet changes, vaccinations, or underfeeding can cause digestive and overall health problems in chickens. Medicines used in case of disease attack also cause digestive problems along with disturbing the balance of microbiota in the bird’s digestive system. This leads to problems like antimicrobial resistance as well as reduced poultry production. Therefore, for better immunity and better production of chickens, it is important that the balance of beneficial microbes in the digestive system is maintained and there is no malfunction in the digestive system. In this regard, the use of probiotics for birds is very useful.

He said that probiotics keep the digestive system healthy and keep the feed and its digestion process correct. Furthermore, these increase the number of friendly microbes and reduce the number of harmful and disease-causing microbes. They maintain the pH of the stomach as well as increase the number of enzymes. This improves digestion and has positive effects on FCR. Further, they play an important role in protecting the flock from various diseases by strengthening the immunity of the birds. Their use also improves the overall production of chickens.

Dissolving in water at all temperatures, they very easily cross waterways and reach birds through drinking water.

Launching Ceremony in Lahore

Chief Executive Officer Mukhtar Feed Ch Muhammad Hussain was the chief guest of the ceremony held in Lahore. Speaking at the event, he emphasized that we should adopt modern trends and reduce the cost of production in poultry. On the other hand, Vice-Chancellor Veterinary University Lahore Prof Dr. Muhammad Younis Rana talked about the unnecessary use of antibiotics and their effects on human health. He emphasized the use of probiotics in poultry as an alternative option. Furthermore, Poultry Consultant Dr. Hanif Nazir convinced poultry farmers that this product of poultry probiotics should be used as a co-preventive approach to achieve better return on investment (ROI) and results.

Director General Research Livestock Department Punjab Dr. Sajjad Hussain described Ecobiol Fizz as the best product of poultry probiotics in the current era in view of the increasing risks of antibiotic residues. Dr. Kashif Saleemi, Chairman, the Department of Pathology, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, said that the use of poultry probiotics in poultry farming is increasing in all developed countries.
