Punjab Food Authority took action against Khoya production units in Punjab. 16 units were sealed. Khoya in English is called curd or milk curd. It is also called Khoa. It is sweet which is formed from milk. The sealed units were making khoya with skimmed milk by mixing chemical and color. Food authority also fined different units. 280 units were inspected in Lahore. 191 in Rawalpindi Zone, 81 in Multan Zone and 42 in Muzaffargarh zone were inspected.
