Director General Livestock Extension Punjab visited Zenith Associates. He visited the fattening farm, modern slaughterhouse, and zenith meat quality lab. Dr. Iqbal Shahid highlighted the importance of meat export and disease-free zone. He also talked about the ease of business doing for livestock in Punjab.

Director General Extension, Livestock Department, Punjab, Dr. Iqbal Shahid and Director, Lahore Division, Dr. Naeem Kanwar visited Zenith Associates, Raiwind, Lahore.
During the visit, they inspected various facilities, including fattening farms, fully automatic slaughterhouses and laboratories. The CEO of Zenith Associates reviewed the successful exports of beef and mutton to the Middle East and Iran. Furthermore, he expressed the need to establish disease-free status for fattening farms.
Director General Extension, Dr. Iqbal Shahid said that the disease control compartment is an important project which is an important milestone for increasing meat exports.
He further said that after the success of the disease control compartment in Sheikhupura, the second disease control compartment is being established in Muzaffargarh. He said that the country’s economy will be on the path of development with the export of livestock.
Furthermore he informed that the Livestock Department has also launched services at the Business Facilitation Center. Where it is providing facilities for all relevant licenses and NOCs related to the livestock business, including the Disease Control Compartment. These projects will play an important role in increasing livestock exports.
