Thanks to the Punjab Government’s Business Facilitation Center located in Lahore, obtaining NOC and licenses for livestock-related businesses has been made easy. According to the information released by the Livestock Department Punjab, NOC or licenses can be obtained from the center for poultry feed mills, animal feed mills, feed mill equipment, Halal certification, registration of poultry premises, artificial insemination training institutions, livestock semen importers, livestock embryo importers, semen distribution and semen production units. In this regard, a representative of the Livestock Department Punjab will be present for guidance and timely action.

 

Achievements at Business Facilitation Centre

According to the released details, NOC for the establishment of animal feed mills and poultry feed mills and licenses for animal compound feed mills, poultry feed mills and poultry feed mill equipment will be issued within 30 days. Licenses for animal feed equipment will be issued within 15 days.

Registration of poultry premises will be done in 30 days. Licenses for artificial insemination training institutes and artificial insemination technicians will also be issued in 30 days. Seven days have been fixed for obtaining licenses for livestock semen importers and livestock embryo importers.

 

Facilities at BFC

Licenses for livestock semen distributors will be issued in 30 days. Thirty days have also been fixed for licenses for semen production units (SPUs). 60 days have been fixed for halal certification. Secretary Livestock and Dairy Development Punjab Masood Anwar visited the center along with Chief Executive Officer Punjab Board of Investment and Trade. Secretary Livestock said that the establishment of the center will improve business.

Director Livestock Lahore Division Dr. Naeem Kanwar along with other officers issued licenses to three Khul Vanda Roti Tikka shops at the center. Their licensing process was completed in three days. On this occasion, the Managing Director of Punjab Small Industries Corporation appreciated the performance of the Livestock Department team.

It should be noted that this center is located on the first floor of Alfalah Building Mall Road in Lahore.
