WPSA Pakistan organized a Seminar on Detection and Prediction of Emerging Diseases in Poultry. This WPSA Seminar was held at UVAS. Faculty of Veterinary Science made the arrangements. Renowned poultry experts discussed the important topics related to poultry disease diagnosis and poultry health.

Dr Qamar-un-Nisa highlighted the importance of pathology in disease diagnosis. Prof Dr Amir Ghafoor Bajwa discussed the novel ways of controlling salmonella gallinarum in poultry. Dr Mustafa Kamal talked about the growth of poultry in the middle of health challenges. Moreover, Dr Asim Mahmood Khan spoke about enhancing health with probiotics, a strategy against antimicrobial resistance. Futhermore, Dr. Hanif Nazir Ch, Dr Kashif Saleemi & Dr Ferhan Farooq also delivered talks on different topics related to poultry health. Dr Nasir Mukhtar spoke about the history, vision & mission of WPSA.
