World Egg Day Ceremony at Superior University Lahore by Noor Poultry Farms and EW Nutrition
On the occasion of World Egg Day 2025, Noor Poultry Farms Private Limited in collaboration with EW Nutrition organized various activities at Superior University Lahore. An eggspert cooking challenge, poster design competition and an academic panel discussion were part of the World Egg Day ceremony. The aim of these activities was to highlight the nutritional benefits of eggs, their creative use and the promotion of healthy eating among students.
Panel Discussion on World Egg Day Ceremony
The theme of this panel discussion, which was held as the main event, was “Building a Sustainable Future with the Nutrient Power of Eggs”. The moderator of this session was Dr. Asif Mehboob, Head of International Business, Noor Poultry. The panel discussion was attended by renowned personalities from the poultry industry, nutrition and business sectors. The panel included Dr. Khalid Majeed (CEO Khalid Majeed & Co), Dr. Asif Javed (Country Head EW Nutrition), Sumaira Saeed (Marketing and National Head Prima Milk & Eggs), Dr. Asim Khan (Chairman AMK Group), and Tabeen Irfan (Consultant Dietitian AYK Hospital).
The participants discussed in detail the nutritional and economic importance of eggs, their role in the food production syste,m and the promotion of nutritional awareness among the young generation. The speakers said that eggs are a complete and affordable food that is rich in protein, vitamins and minerals essential for human health, and should be made an integral part of the daily diet.
Students Activities
Students displayed their creative talents at the event. In the Eggspert Cooking Challenge, young chefs prepared delicious and nutritious egg-based dishes in a modern way, which were greatly appreciated by the audience. Similarly, in the poster and graphic design competition, students presented the nutritional and economic importance of eggs in an artistic way. A gallery visit was also organized during the event, where colorful posters and creative artworks attracted the attention of the audience.
The special guests and judges appreciated the students’ talents and said that such activities not only promote educational and creative trends but are also an excellent means of creating awareness about a complete food like eggs. The event, organized in collaboration with Noor Poultry Farms, EW Nutrition, and MENU, aimed to promote egg consumption, create nutritional awareness among the younger generation, and highlight the positive role of the poultry industry.
At the end of the event, certificates and shields were presented to the winning students. The university administration announced that such activities will be continued in the future to create more awareness among the youth regarding health and nutrition.
