World Egg Day celebrated at CUVAS Bahawalpur

Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Bahawalpur organized a seminar on World Egg Day 2024. Dean Professor Dr. Faizul Hasan led the event. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Mazhar Ayaz was the chief guest of the seminar on the importance of eggs.

Dean Professor Dr. Faizul Hasan chaired the seminar and highlighted the benefits of eggs. He said that egg is a complete food that is rich in protein, vitamins, and other important nutrients. Consuming eggs in our daily diet is not only essential for our physical health, but it also strengthens the brain development and immune system. We need to publicize the nutritional and health benefits of eggs in our society so that people are aware.

Nutritional Importance of Eggs

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Mazhar Ayaz said that the purpose of celebrating World Egg Day 2024 is to create awareness among the public about the importance of eggs and their nutritional benefits. Egg is a cheap and nutritious food that not only increases our physical energy but also plays an important role in eliminating malnutrition. We need to embrace modern research and education to promote egg production and consumption so that we can play our part in building a healthy society.

Apart from this, egg nutrition, its production, and the challenges faced by the egg industry were also discussed. Stall competition, quiz competition, egg calligraphy, awareness walk, egg dishes competition, and fun quiz were also organized in the seminar. Students actively participated.
