Chicken and eggs, annual consumption of eggs in Pakistan is less as compared to even under developed countries. Annual world egg consumption is 160 per egg but in Pakistan it is only 80. Egg consumption per day in developed countries is 300. Per capita egg consumption should be improved. Chicken consumption and other poultry products should be increased by promotional activities.
