Cabinet of the Vets Sports Board VSB 2024-25

The cabinet of Vets Sports Board VSB of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Agriculture Faisalabad for the year 2024-25 has been announced. This board promotes veterinary students sports in faculty. To select the members and make this process transparent, interviews were conducted by the advisory committee. The Committee assigned responsibilities based on the contributions and skills of the students.

The advisory committee of the board for 2024-2025 includes Professor Dr. Muhammad Shahid Mahmood Dean Faculty, Dr. Ashhar Mahfouz (Chairman Veterinary Medical Society), Dr. Bilal Aslam, Dr. Sultan Ali, Dr. Khurram Ashfaq, and Dr. Ayesha Khatoon.

Aqib Hanif will serve as the President of the Vet Sports Board, while Noman Haider Khan and Eman Fatima will serve as Vice Presidents. Sumeet Ansari and Fatima Naveed have been appointed as Event Managers. Muhammad Farrukh Naeem will serve as Coordinator, Muhammad Arsalan and Amna Nadeem as General Secretaries, and Yahya Altaf and Umm ul Khair will serve as Finance Secretaries. Roman Wazir has been appointed as the Campaign Head, Hamza Aziz and Wajiha Zahid as Joint Secretaries, Abdul Rehman and Fiza Tariq as Press Secretaries, Haseeb Raza and Shiza Naz as Media Secretaries, while Talha Tariq and Samna Fatima as Deputy Media Secretaries.

Importance of Sports

Sports aim to train the youth mentally and physically to enable them to lead an active life as good and responsible citizens. Like all other healthy activities, sports always help in achieving educational goals and building the personality of the youth. Keeping this aspect in mind, a board has been formed by the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. The Vets Sports Board organizes various sports competitions every year in which all the members of the board play an active role.
