
Veterinary Ultrasound Machines for Animals provided at Vet hospitals, training continued
The Punjab Livestock Department has equipped government veterinary hospitals in all tehsils with veterinary ultrasound machines for animals. The aim of this initiative is to provide timely and accurate diagnosis of livestock diseases and modern solutions to breeding problems.
In order to increase the capacity of the department, 180 focal persons are being trained in a phased manner in the effective use of ultrasound machines, which will be completed in 6 batches. After the completion of the training of the first batch, a closing ceremony was organized at the Veterinary Academy of the Veterinary University.
The special guest of the ceremony was Secretary Livestock Mr. Saqib Ali Ateel. Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof. Dr. Anila Zameer Durrani, Additional Secretary Technical Dr. Usman Tahir, and Director General Extension Dr. Muhammad Ashraf also attended.

The Secretary Livestock said that the Punjab Livestock Department is committed to providing modern facilities to livestock farmers. With the help of veterinary ultrasound machines for animals, veterinary services will be modernized and problems related to diagnosis and breeding will be solved effectively. He described the Veterinary Academy as an excellent institution providing international standard training. He added that this training will not only enhance their technical skills but will also lead to improvement in the overall performance of the department.
