The Ministry of National Food Security & Research (MNFSR) has announced Veterinary Jobs as Project Director. This veterinary jobs at MNFSR requires veterinary professionals. However, the Ministry is establishing a Federal Project Management Unit (FPMU) under a PSDP project. The project is titled “National Program for Animal Disease Surveillance, FMD and PPR Control, and Animal Track and Traceability.” Through this initiative, the government aims to control animal diseases effectively. Moreover, it seeks to establish a national traceability system in line with international standards.
Therefore, the Ministry invites applications for Project Director position on a contract basis.
The candidate must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or an equivalent qualification. In addition, a Master’s or Ph.D. in Epidemiology, Veterinary Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field will be preferred. Furthermore, a background in veterinary or public health will be considered an added advantage.
Apart from technical qualifications, candidates with an MBA, Master’s in Project Management, or MPA will be preferred. Similarly, experience in executing similar projects will strengthen the application.
The candidate must have at least 15 years of professional experience. In particular, experience in the development sector will be highly valued. Moreover, proven expertise in managing and coordinating large-scale programs, especially in animal or public health, is essential.
The age limit for this position is 40 to 62 years.

The Ministry will offer this position purely on a contract basis. Initially, the contract will be for two years. However, it may be extended depending on project needs or until the project ends, whichever comes earlier.
