14th Convocation of UVAS held at City Campus. Governor Punjab presided over the UVAS Convocation 2023. Chinese Consular General as well as Chairman PHEC also graced. University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences awarded degrees to 1761 students. Veterinary University also awarded medals to 63 students.

Governor Punjab at UVAS Convocation 2023

Governor Punjab as Chancellor, presided over the the UVAS Convocation 2023. While addressing, he congratulated the students. He urged students to work hard and be ethical. He also emphasized to verify the information they received. Furthermore, the Governor also highlighted the importance of research and development. He congratulated the University on its achievements. In addition to this, he appreciated female students for better results. He encouraged females to take part actively in their practical life.

Vice Chancellor at UVAS Convocation 2023

While addressing, VC UVAS highlighted the role of the University. Prof. Nasim also emphasized its historical importance. He talked about the projects completed by the University. Furthermore, Prof. Nasim Ahmed presented the achievements of the University. He said UVAS helped needy students with scholarships. The university is also supporting farmers and other stakeholders. University offers different services. Besides this, UVAS is also focusing on academia inThe dustry linkages.

Prof. Dr. Nasim Ahmed also talked about the Flood relief activities. UVAS distributed animals among the poor farmers of the affected area. Furthermore, volunteers provided relief services.

Vice Chancellor also talked about the University ranking as well as sports activities.

Degrees and Medals Awarded

1,761 graduates were awarded degrees at UVAS Convocation 2023. Among these, there were 60 PhDs and 623 MPhils. DVM Degrees were 222 in number. Besides this, graduates also received Degrees of BS in different subjects. Pharm-D, MBA, and BBA degrees were also awarded. Besides this, 63 position holders received medals from Veterinary University.

University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences

University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences is located in Lahore. This veterinary university has also campuses in other cities. Besides Pattoki, Nrowal and Jhang Campuses are also working. In addition to this, Para veterinary Institutes are also the part of University.

The Main Degree of the university is DVM. Besides this, UVAS is also offering degrees in poultry sciences, dairy technology and business subjects. On the other hand, nutrition and pharmacy-related programs are also part. Not only undergraduate, the University is also offering post-graduate programs.

UVAS Admissions are offered in different programs. These include DVM, D Pharmacy, and BS in different subjects. On the other hand, MPhil and PhD admissions are also offered.
