Coronavirus in Tiger at Bronx Zoo, tests positive for Covid-19

A female tiger at the New York Zoo has also been diagnosed with the coronavirus. According to the zoo management, the four-year-old Malaysian female tiger had a dry cough and was tested for the coronavirus, which came back positive. Six lions at the zoo have also shown signs of respiratory distress, but they have not been tested yet. It is feared that the coronavirus was transmitted to the female tiger from a zoo employee, but it is hoped that she will recover soon.
