Dr. Asim Mahmood Khan chaired the third PVPA CEC Meeting
The third Central Executive Committee meeting of the Pakistan Veterinary Pharmaceuticals Association was held at PVPA House, Lahore, chaired by Chairman Dr. Asim Mahmood Khan. PVPA CEC Meeting was also attended by Dr. Masood Sadiq Chaudhry, Shoaib Amjad, Major (R) Syed Javed Hussain Bukhari and others.
The meeting discussed in detail the organizational matters, future plans and challenges facing the veterinary pharma industry. On this occasion, Shoaib Amjad was unanimously elected as the Vice Chairman for the Northern Region, whom the members termed as a strong voice of the veterinary pharma sector and expressed their best wishes. The participants expressed the hope that with the participation of Shoaib Amjad, the association will play a more active and effective role in the Northern Region.
Expo Arrangements Review at PVPA CEC Meeting
The meeting also reviewed the arrangements for Pakistan’s first three-day International Veterinary Pharma Expo, which will begin on April 28 at the Lahore Expo Center. The participants, while terming it a milestone for Pakistan’s veterinary pharma industry, said that this expo will provide a common platform for domestic and foreign institutions providing veterinary pharmaceutical biological products and livestock and poultry health solutions. It will not only highlight the local industry’s image on the global stage but will also open new doors for investment, innovative research and technical cooperation.

Addressing the meeting, Dr. Asim Mahmood Khan said that the International Veterinary Pharma Expo 2026 is of key importance for the development of the animal health sector in the country, food security and promotion of exports. Pakistan Veterinary Pharmaceuticals Association is in constant touch with all stakeholders to make this program a success. He thanked the committee members and industry representatives and assured that the association would continue its efforts to resolve the problems of the veterinary pharma industry and improve the regulatory framework.
