Scientists have named a new species of Snake after Harrison Ford in honour of the Indiana Jones actor’s support for conservation work.This specie is a yellowish-brown colour, with black spots, a black belly and copper eyes. It has been given the scientific name Tachymenoides harrisonfordi.It is now named after Ford because he is active in environmental issues and conservation work.Researchers from Germany, the United States and Peru have discovered this specie  when they ventured into Otishi National Park .This park is located within Peru’s Junín and Cusco regions, both of which are currently deemed unsafe for travelers by the US Department of State .It protects part of the Vilcabamba mountain range and preserve the wildlife .
