PVMA Central adopts the PVMA of Lahore, PVMA Sindh declared illegal
PVMA Central adopted the PVMA of Lahore. A letter written on the letterhead of the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Association (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zone) to the Provincial Minister for Logistics Sindh, Secretary for Logistics Sindh and others has said that the recently registered PVMA in Sindh should be stopped from unauthorized activities.
The letter has clarified that the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Association is registered in Lahore and it was also adopted by the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC) in its last meeting. Dr. Nazir Hussain Kalhoro was also present in this meeting.

The letter has said that Dr. Nazir Hussain Kalhoro got the PVMA registered in Sindh on malicious grounds. This association is limited to Sindh.
The letter further states that a campaign is being launched by Dr. Nazir Hussain Kalhoro against the PVMA working committee in Sindh. Along with this, senior members of the Sindh working committee are being intimidated. After the end of the previous tenure in Sindh, the working committee comprising Dr. Zahid Chachar, Dr. Mubarak Jatoi, Dr. Syed Sabir Ali Shah and other members are working for the elections for the next tenure in Sindh.
Dr. Nazir Hussain Kalhoro has been asked to hold PVMA elections in Sindh in collaboration with the working committee to resolve this issue in the larger interest of the veterinary profession.
In this regard, it has been further said that the unauthorized activities of Dr. Nazir Hussain Kalhoro and his fake association should be stopped and the correspondence of this so-called association should not be accepted until the decision of the Peshawar High Court.
