Pakistan Brahman Breeders Association has been registered under the Livestock Department. The Livestock Breeding Services Authority issued a one-year registration. The Secretary Livestock along with the Chairman Breeding Services Authority gave the registration certificate to the representatives of the association. On this occasion, Secretary Livestock Masood Anwar said that breeding of Brahman breed animals and using their semen will increase beef production and semen of high genetic properties will be available to beef breeders at a cheaper rate.

Further, the Secretary Livestock said that a lot of foreign exchange will be saved in terms of importing beef semen. He added that the Pakistan Brahman Breeders Association will also provide support to the relevant departments of the Livestock Department of Punjab in the field of research.
On this occasion, Chairman Breeding Authority Dr. Abdul Aleem Bhatti said that the Brahman Association has been registered under the Livestock Breeding Act and departmental SOPs. He said that the use of Brahman semen in inbred/low-producing cows will increase meat production.
General Secretary Association Umar Farooq welcomed the cooperation of the Livestock Department. Additional Secretary (Technical) of the department, Director Breed Improvement, Registrar Breeding Services Authority and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
